As a Junior ICT engineer, you get the opportunity to work with the latest technologies for customers and within our cloud and management services. You are part of a team of specialists who are jointly responsible for the continuity of our customers in the field of ICT.

The organisation

We were founded in 1994 and specialize in, among other things, customized solutions in the field of ICT, sorting systems, network management, secondment and cloud services. The team is able to meet almost all automation needs. We have customers both in the Netherlands and internationally.

What do you do every day?

As a junior network/system engineer, you solve problems for various clients. You do this both from the office in Beverwijk and on location.

  • Ensuring the continuity and availability of the system and applications
    proactively identifying disruptions within the customer’s environment and its own cloud

  • Maintaining and installing servers, firewalls and business applications.
  • Maintaining and expanding your own cloud environment, virtual servers and RDS

  • You participate in various projects, for example replacement or expansion
    ICT environment and migrations to the cloud.

  • Independently advise customers in the field of network and security.

  • Independent relationship management with customers. This includes proactively meeting with customers go, see sales opportunities and make quotations.

  • Independent relationship management with suppliers and partners.
  • Taking responsibility for transferring knowledge to colleagues.

What is your background?

Do you want to gain work experience as a Network engineer? We are looking for a customer-oriented and proactive IT professional for internships. Do you recognize yourself in the following characteristics?

  • Follows an IT course, at least MBO 4.
  • You have an affinity with a similar position.
  • You master the Dutch language, spoken and written.
  • You have technical knowledge of:
    • Setting up Windows Server 2012 and/or 2016.
    • Setting up Active Directory.
    • Setting up a VMware environment.
    • Setting up an RDS and VDI environment.
    • Back-up & Recovery.
    • Configuring and managing firewalls (e.g. Cisco/Zyxcel, small business versions).
    • Knowledge and experience of mail servers and mail migrations.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft licensing structure.
  • You like to sink your teeth into complex IT problems and you like to be challenged.

  • You have a high sense of responsibility for delivering quality and service from satisfied customers.

  • You are flexible, proactive and work independently.
  • You have a driving license B. Own transport is an advantage.

Do you already have Microsoft MCSA, MCSE or Cisco CCNA certificates? That is an absolute advantage. With us you get the opportunity to obtain or expand your CCNA and MCSE certificates. We are happy to train you towards a full MCSE or CCNA certification and help you grow into a fully-fledged Network and/or System Engineer.
